On August 14, 1986 the emcee known as J-Dollaz was born Jordan Scott in Charleston, South Carolina. In his younger years J-Dollaz never even imagined getting invovled with music. As a matter of fact his talent was drawing. He grew up a military child, living in SC, VA, CA, and DE which is currently his home for now. J-Dollaz never showed any musical talent growing up. He didn’t sing or rap when someone had a camcorder out recording like you hear alot of musicians saying they did. It wasn’t until he was 16 years old that he actually took a strong liking to music. At the same age is when he began writing music.

The next few years of his life would cement his decision to pursue a music career. Situations throughout the years that followed when he began writing and cemented his decision were the death of a girlfriend and the death of his father both within 6 months. A year after his girlfriend and his father had passed, J-Dollaz became a father to a beautiful baby girl. Realizing he had a child to provide for he continued to pursue a career in music even more determined then he was before. While with the mother of his daughter he was contacted my Island Def Jam who requested a demo from him. Excited to be noticed by a major label let alone a label at all J-Dollaz sent a demo in. Def Jam never responded. After the failed attempt to get a deal with IDJ J-Dollaz then signed to an indie label from NY in 2006 called HardBody Ent. He was in contact with the CEO of HardBody Ent. and his fellow emcees on the label for a few months until contact between J-Dollaz and the label were lost. Attempts at contacting the CEO proved to be a waste of his time when after numerous messages the label never responded back to him.

Fast forward to now and J-Dollaz has also become the proud father of a beautiful baby boy. And once again realizing he has children to take care of and his children to set an example for he is once again pushed further in his determination to achieve his goal, his dream. And that is a career in the music industry. Some of J-Dollaz’s influences would be his Children, his father, his son’s mother, his brother’s and his fans. Some emcee’s who influence J-Dollaz are Joe Budden, Lloyd Banks, Eminem, Jadakiss, Cassidy, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, etc. J-Dollaz sound has been called unique and he has been referred to as versatile. He can speak to you on a track about what he’s been through in his life and turn around a second later and reach out to the ladies with an rnb track or reach out to the hood with something grimey. J-Dollaz is hungrier then ever which can be heard through any of his tracks and can be seen through the work he’s putting in to be promoted on a number of blog sites. If you don’t believe me just Google him. His crew is Royaltee Entertainment, his year is 2009, his goal is to earn a deal. He has a story to tell and won’t stop until every chapter has been told.
